Hotel textiles can reach the end of their role while still holding value. CLOTH’EL began with a question: how could these materials become something useful and beautiful again? Our answer is to give them a second life through design.
CLOTH’EL brings together two words: Cloth and Hotel. The name reflects where our materials come from and where our story began. What started with clothing has grown into collections for hotels, museums, brands and individuals.
Every collection begins with the textile: its texture, character and possibilities. Independent designers and skilled makers help shape its next life. The available materials guide the design and determine how many pieces we can create.
I founded CLOTH’EL because I wanted to turn an idea about sustainability into something tangible: useful, beautiful pieces made from materials that still have so much to offer.
Premium hotel textiles became our starting point. I saw an opportunity to connect their next chapter with the places and people that gave them their first.
Today, I bring together hotel partners, independent designers and local makers to explore those possibilities — from clothing and accessories to custom collections for businesses.
My ambition is to make textile reuse a practical, lasting part of how hotels and brands work, one collaboration at a time.
